Building a Quick Niche Site

Building niche websites can be very profitable but can also take a lot of time. In the past, I have spent over 10+ hours building one website. I would spend this time mainly looking for content and then adding the content to my website. Well, I have found a way to create hundreds of quality niche content pages using public domain works. The entire process now takes me under an hour! Below you will find the major steps I use to create many of my niche sites now.

Step 1. Pick a Subject
This is probably one of the easiest steps. You can chose anything you find interesting or something that others will find interest in. If you can't think of anything, visit Google Answers. Simply type a general word like 'the' in the search box. This will return what people are looking for and how much they are willing to pay. You should sort by highest price first. The reason you should sort by highest price is because chances are, it's a hot niche that not many people can find the answers for. After you find a subject, you should if it's popular at Nichebot. The reason you will want to see its popularity is because if alot of people are searching for it, you will get more traffic. Remember, more traffic means more clicks!

Step 2. Get Content
Once you find a subject, you need to find quality content. I use public domain ebooks from Project Gutenberg . Don't think of these books as outdated because many contain content that is still relevant today. You can find topics on natural cures, diets, bartending, sports and even how to guides!NOTE: You need to make sure you follow the guidelines set by Project Gutenberg and that the material is also in the public domain.

Step 3. Build a Template & Generate the Pages
For this task, I use Quick Page Generator. It costs $47 but it takes your content file, splits it and then inserts it into your template. Quick Page Generator comes with a basic template that you can add your AdSense code and public domain title to. It's pretty basic BUT if you know a little HTML, you can add a menu to the left on all the pages using a program like Multi Replace. I did this to my site at: http://www.diet-and-health.ws/.

On my site above, you will also notice that I added Google AdLinks, AdSense AND offer a version of the book in PDF form for a nominal fee. You could also add a subscription form for a newsletter and links to affiliate programs or anything else your imagination can come up with.Note: If you don't add something besides the content and AdSense, Google could terminate your account because of policy violation. Google policy says "No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant." This is why I added the purchase option. No need to chance it plus it's an added revenue stream.

Step 4. Generate Traffic
There are many ways to generate traffic but I have found that the easiest way is to "blog and ping." Blogging and pinging is easy to do but takes a lot time if you do it manually. I use and highly suggest Blogging Equalizer to do this. The first time I used Blogging Equalizer Yahoo visited my site over 1,500 times in 48 hours and my site was listed in 24 hours.Blogging Equalizer does have a hefty price tag of $147 but is well worth it.There are some other steps you need to do; like generate keywords and find a domain name but the steps above are the major ones you need to take. Good luck in generating your army of niche sites!

Hi again,
If you wouldn't mind I'd like to pick your brain a bit. I know I asked you about my site yesterday, but I have a couple other questions.

Basically, I've read a lot about this whole adsense thing. A friend of mine bought the whole ProfitLance system but wasn't using it so gave me the account. I've read through everything there, and that's what got me into making that site I made.

I've also read through everything here (more or less everything), and I still have the same main question.

I can't seem to get past choosing a good niche. I know I made a mistake by going for something as broad and something as highly developed as boating. I really don't think I'll be able to generate a decent amount of traffic with that site.

But I can't think of any niche that isn't already well-developed. Should I be looking for more specific things. The problem with that, though, is creating enough content.

Basically, what makes a good niche good. I know about looking at volume and competition with the Google Keyword Tool as well finding out what people are paying for for certain keywords. But every time I think I have a good idea I find it's overdeveloped.

Bah, I'm just getting frustrated.

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your question again. Yes, every blogger need to have a lot of content to support his/her blog. Otherwise, you cannot attract visitors to come.

Niche is only one issue, and yet there are still many others. My suggestion is that you should start a blog that belongs to your real interest, from which you can write more and more content.

Don't be frsutrated, maybe you simply cannot think one niche at the moment. Why don't you start a board blog that belongs to your interest first, and then slowly develop your niche blog?

Cheer up, dude!
