Bidvertiser Ads for Feeds - New Feature from Bidvertiser

If you are one of my blog readers, you must know that Bidvertiser is one of my favourites. It offers me considerable commission on referring new publishers and advertisers. In this new year, Bidvertiser has announced a new feature for monetizing your blog feed, if you are using either Wordpres, Typepad or Blogger.

The huge growth of RSS feeds, empowered by the growth of blogging, created the demand for new ways to monetize RSS feeds. Hundreds if not thousands of debates through the blogsphere confronted the ones supporting full feeds with the ones supporting partial feeds, were it always ends in "but how can I monetize my feed"?

This new feature is called "BidVertiser Ads for Feeds", and once you finished the registration and feed vreification, you will be able to show the BidVertiser CPC ads in your feeds, as well as get access to our various multiple-subscription Feed Widgets that will help you publicize your new feed.

Below shows how Bidvertiser Ads for Feeds work:

1. Login to your publisher account and click "Add New BidVertiser". During the Public Beta, you may also click the "Public Beta" link. If you are new to BidVertiser, click here to create a publisher account.

2. Make sure you are under the BidVertiser for your Feed tab.

3. Provide your feed URL and title and click Next.

4. Verify your feed ownership by adding a temporary post with a unique verification code we provide you with.

5. Choose your favorite multiple-subscription Feed Widget and add it to your website or blog. I now specify the detail instruction for inserting the code into the blogger platofrm here.

Blogger allows you to add 3rd party elements to the end of each of your post feed. Simply follow these simple steps to add the BidVertiser Ads to your post feed.

- Login to your Blogger account.
- Click Settings -> Site Feed.
- Copy your BidVertiser Feed Code to the Post Feed Footer area.
- You must also set Enable Post Pages to Yes (in Archiving settings) and set Allow Blog Feeds to Full.
- Click Save Settings.

You can then see the BidVertiser Ads at the bottom of each of your posts in your blog's feed, and wait for it to monetize your feed.

Good day Mr Decoder,
Question, on my webpages, I can have both google adsense ads and BidVertiser ads?
even though google suggest not to place ads that look like google's ads
on same site? I do not want to lose my adsense account, (trying to make money) ;-)
Your link is on my blog http://hubpages.com/hub/A-9-Dollar-Solution

Hi Mrgreetx,

No, you cannot have them both on a sinlge webpage, since they look too similar. It is a violation of Google TOS.

Yes, stick to one advertiser netowrk only. Also, thanks for the link.

Hey based on your suggestions and my analysis i found BidVertiser to be more useful than adsense, atleast for me.

I should admit that your site is the bible for me to try anything with BidVertiser now.

and i was trying to do this ads for feeds but pardon my ignorance i have no idea of feeds.

i didn't get ur step no. 3 ..what is that we have to provide when u say "Feed URL"? i gave the link of my blog and it says its not a valid feed. and what is Feedburner in this context?

Thanks in advance
Neo

Hi Neo,

Thanks for loving my site, and hope that my blog is useful to you, and please provide a back link to my blog.

If you own a blog, feed will be very useful to use, and I suggest you to read more by google the term "feed". The very first step to start a feed is to register your blog at www.feedburner.com. It worths for you to wander there to get more information.

Again, please let me know if you have further enquiries, and I am willing to answer them.

Hi ad decoder

thanks for your reply. again i didn't understand you saying "provide a back link to my blog". How do we do that and what happens if do that? Is it to get the updates from your blog? I have bookmarked your site for that.

yes i have registered with feedburner and followed the steps shown in Bidvertiser but i cannot see any change in the layout of blog. I mean if we add feeds then do we get special label or icon at the end of each post ? or is it only a means to drive your traffic?

One more question about BiDvertiser. I have upgraded my templates and removed adsense from it. Coz as i understand adsense pays only when u make 100$ and with not so popular blog like mine its highly difficult to reach that target. I could make only 4$ in 1 month by adsense. Moreover there is no paypal transactions for Indian users.

So BidVertiser was the best choice where the min limit is only 10$ via paypal. I viewed by ad bidders and selected only the top bidders and refreshed my blog but they could not be displayed in my ad space. Why is that so? I have taken care of * mark in the ad selection bidder.

Will be through and through with all your posts. Looking for more

Thanks
Neo

Hi Neo,

Thanks for loving my blog, and welcome to be one of my regular readers. Well, providing a backlink is not equal to bookarmking. There is a text box on the bottom of my left column, and all you need to do is to copy the code there, and then paste it into the template (exactly the same as pasting the Adsense code).

You are right, one of the most attractive feature of Bidvertiser is that its minimum payout is only $10. You can get the money easily if you are running small sites. Paypal payment is also available which shorten the transfer time too.

Most of the ads in Bidvertiser is geo-targeted, and so the ads may not be displayed in your location. Also, some advertisers may set the money and time limit on their ads, and so their ads will not be displayed round-the-clock.

Good luck~

Hi ad decoder

Ok i got ur purpose of backlink so that more readers will get to know abt ur blog. definitely would be helpful for all..so i have put that as a side link in my blog. hope that helps.

my question for today about BidVertiser is - we are given a option to approve or decline ads in our blogs but if the highest bidder ads crawls to our site by default then why do we need to use that option? and yes as u said i found they are mostly geo targeted and i am getting paid less here per click :(

There are different ads with different CTC the least being 0.05$ CTC but in my report the CTC is always shown as .03$ CTC. Why is that so? I am getting paid the same irrespective of any ad. Its been less than 48 hrs since i started with Bidverstiser.

Waiting for your reply
Neo

Hi Neo,

Thanks for your backlink first, and I appreciate that.

Why do we need to approve the ads in Bidvertiser? That's because the ads within a certain category may not totally related to that nature indeed. For example, I choose web promotion, but some casino-related ads will disappear in my site. In order to increase the RELEVANCY of ads, I will manually approve the ads myself.

Also, the bid for a click doesn't mean you will get all of it, and Bidvertiser will keep a certain portion from this bid, and you get the rest.

Good day~
