i only have one comment. the adsense ads that are on the left of the page hang over the posts in the center. this makes it difficult to read, as the first word or two on the left has been chopped off.

This is a very serious offence! I don't know who you are and do not know what is the intension! I guess you are the administrator that copied all my articles! In fact, all the articles posted, in my local time, in that forum are in 4am. Then you posted a comment here at 5am, and tell me I have copied from you? That's ridiculous.

All my readers have read my articles for more than 3 months. You are commiting coptight infringement and that is morally incorrect.

Help! My web site at www.bladeater.com and others (I have several) have google ads, but clicks are not being credited. These sites are built with Joomla and my web guy added the google adsense component for Joomla, but for some reason, google is not picking up when people click on our sites.

At 23 February, 2007 05:18, Blogger Adsense Decoder said...

this is definitely wierd. If you can display your adsense ads, you should be credited for the clicks as well! One possible solution is that the report takes some time to refresh and updated. Try to wait for about an hour and see whether this problem is still there. If the problem is still there, then you need to report to Google for assistance.

There is two adsense for content in in the right bar and left bar and in the top of each article an other adsense for content , does google adsense treat that as more than three ?

At 11 March, 2007 15:32, Blogger Adsense Decoder said...

Hi med,

If you count them carefully, you can see that each of my pages has only three ads. That will not constitute a violation to Google's TOS.

In fact, Google will only show the ads for the first three adsense codes and will ignore the rest even if you have more than three sets of adsense codes.

Hope it helps.

At 12 March, 2007 19:32, Blogger Med said...

Thanks for your reply
but I have counted them again
one in the top near the head of the page the second in the left bar and in the topic entitled "Please kindly link to us ..." there is an ad in the head , and an other in the topic entitled "Get an unique Alexa T-shirt" all that in one page , is this how should I count or I have misunderstood the TOS ... Thank you in advance ...

Hi med,

From the Google TOs, it allows us to have 3 adsense for content ads and 1 link unit. I just only have three adsense ads on the homepage. One in the left column, 2 in the post. I think the fourth one you mentioned is the link unit on top.

Thanks your question. Please feel free to ask me question on adsense.

It seems that I do not make any defference between link unit and adsense for content what is the defference and where can I get link unit , is adsense for content which contains 5 links to same as the one which contains one in the top of your posts ?
Thank you for your help

med,

Adsense for Content ad is already an ad that will pay you whenever a person clicks on it. On the other hand, a link unit, usually contains 4 or 5 links, is also product of Google adsense. If a visitor click on one of the link, he/ she will then be shown with a result page of ads. You will then be paid when he/she clicks on the ads.

At 20 March, 2007 16:45, Blogger Adsense Decoder said...

Jose,

Your site looks cool. In fact, before adding Adsense ads to your site, it is quite hard to comment. Having a nice blending of ads with the background is one important criteria on deciding how successful you are with adsense. Feel free to leave a comment to me after you have been approved.

At 02 April, 2007 16:00, Blogger Adsense Decoder said...

Med,

The reason why I put off the Adsense ads is to test the viability of other adsense alternatives. Currently, I am testing the Bivertiser, but the result is not that fruitful.

Of course, you can put both Adsense and Adbrite on the same page, without any problem. The reaon is that Adbrite does not look alike with Adsense ads.

Thanks a lot.

Hello
Thank you for this great site
I would like to ask you about something , last month I have got hundereds of visits to my site from a pornographic forum , it seems that someone have put my link there , is that against the terms of adsense ? what about using
oxado and adsense in the same page ? what about using site redirection ?
Thank you in advance

At 04 April, 2007 22:54, Blogger Adsense Decoder said...

Thank you very much for leaving a comment.

There will be no violation of TOS, if your site is linked to a porno site. Make sure your site is free from adult content. For your second question, I have used Oxado for a period of time, but I am not quite satisfied with it. Since Oxado ads can look very similar with Adsense ads, there may be a problem with that. If you really want to have both of them, seek for Google's assistance first.

For the last question, I haven't heard there is a part about site redirection.

Hope you can subscribe my blog and put a back link to my site.

Hi
Thanks for this wonderful blog
I have a question hope to find an answer to it . How can I protect my blog from clicks ? is there any script to use ? what about adlogger ? how can I know that one person have clicked on the ads many times ?
sorry for all these questions and thank you an advance

At 17 April, 2007 00:47, Blogger Adsense Decoder said...

In fact, there are only limited ways for you to prevent invalid clicks. You need to keep check your adsense report, and report those suspicious clicks.

Adlogger is a good open-source script that enables you to trace the IPs of the clickers. But you need to have a web hosting that include MySQL database.

Your questions are welcome and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi ridhuan,

Thanks for your comment. I am not a Adsense professional yet, and still have a lot of things to learn.

Regarding your site, it has a very good layout and template. The design is user-friendly too. But there is something wrong with the layout of the ads. You may consider to put a 728x15 link unit on top, as well as a 125x125 small square ad unit at the corner of each post. As a rule of thrumb, don't put the ads below the fold as it cannot recieve enough attention from visitors.

For the traffic problem, you may refer to the articles I post in this blog, or my Money Blog which also has a lot traffic tips.

P.S. Thanks for your link, but what is Sifu by the way?

Hi Sifu,

How are you, I have few questions to ask regarding search code. In Google Policy, it is said that I can paste my search code in any website or webpage.

My questions are:

1. Can I encourage my readers to use the search code that I paste on my website/other website that I put in there?

2. Can I paste more than one search code in a website/webpage, for example:

a) this website(which is my wife website)www.comelnya.com if you see on top of it on the left side, there is a button of google search.

b) at the same time, I put other google search button in some of the her web pages inside the www.comelnya.com that attracts lots of readers, for example here http://comelnya.com/mengandung/alahan-semasa-mengandung and here http://comelnya.com/mengandung/panduan-pemakanan-ibu-mengandung (the google search button can be found at the end of the pages)

Kindly regards, Thanks.

Hi Ridhuan,

1. You are allowed to encourage/recommend your readers to use the search box, but never encourage them to click the ads.

2. Yes, you are allowed to display two search boxes on a single webpage. That means no matter which webpage of your site, you can have a maximum of two search boxes.

Good luck~

Hi!
Here I an once again.
Siunce I do not have the 'adsense' account anymore, as the same has been disabled, I want to branch out to earn something. I have a clickbank account for quite sometime without making anything, now I have a blog which is :http://clickshop4affiliates.blogspot.com - this is about one month old. But same old story, no clicks, and no earnings from clickbank. Can you give me some pointers/ideas? Where have I gone wrong? Do I cut down on the 'clickbank' items?
Appreciate your advice.

Hi earthvision,

ClickBank is more or less like a CPA (Cost-per-Action) ads. Thus, you will only be paid whenever a visitor click the link, enter the advertiser's webpage, and most importantly, do certain actions. These actions include spend hundreds of dollars to buy goods/services, spending half an hour to register as member, or providing their own personal email address. As you can see, though the payout is higher in ClickBank, you hardly get a conversion!

If your site is not old enough and does not get enough visitors, don't do CPA ads. I suggest you to start with Bidvertiser ad first.

Hi!

Thanks a lot.

Since I am logged into the internet practically on a daily basis, I make it a point to look at your 'blog' for anything new.
Its so huge, that I think it will take quite some time. Why don't you give some tip on other sites who pay, instead of only 'adsense' I am sure that there are many netpreneurs out there who are sailing in the same boat as me. More than 50% would be working the internet to make a bit of money, right?
Thanks again.

Hi Earthvision,

I should be grateful if you can put the back link to my blog on all of your blogs and sites.

Apart from Adsense, I think Bidvertiser is already good enough. You should only focus on one or two programs, or otherwise the earning will be scattered.

Also, don't waste too much time to find "good" programs, it is more important for you to have more content in and traffic to your blogs.

Thanks for the lowdown with adsense and backlink information.

I've found it really useful, and has certainly helped me to try and get my site www.getthings4free.co.uk found a lot better (hopefully!)

www.getthings4free.co.uk helps visitors obtain freebies, such as Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, HDTV's and much more.

As you will see from the above, if anyone ever googles free playstation or any of the other things, there's is loads of other sites... and hopefully with your help - I'll be up there too!!

Thanks

Sheps
