Application Delay in late January
Google announced that due to the system failure, the application made in the past few weeks would have some delay in review and approval. There are some people who raised their questions in such belated application in Adsense Help Group. For those who have applied in the past few weeks, no worry, your application is not rejected without reasons but is still under review. Luckily, the system failure has been fixed and the waiting time for Adsense application is still be 10 business days.
The recoveroing of Adsense system was also mentioned in the Adsense blog, "We'd like to let you know that everything is back to normal, and we're working hard to get the backlog processed. If you've been waiting to hear back about your application, please be assured that we'll get back to you soon. Thanks for your patience in the meantime".
Same in the past, if you have waited for more than 3 weeks, please send an email to adsense-support@google.com and enquire on the review progress.
