A Never-told Secret to Increase eCPM in Adsense
eCPM is a average statistic that show you how much you would earn for 1,000 impressions. Theoretically, this eCPM cannot be improved, as Google decide which ad to be displayed in your site, and the commissions it gets from a click on it. Now long before, I just figure a very interesting and useful secret about AdSense to increase this eCPM. You can test it yourself and see whether it works.
First of all, there is a field for "publisher ID" within the Adsense code that Google AdSense provides you. As some of you might have experienced before, once you delete the publisher ID, the ads will keep being displayed on your site, but you will be publishing them for no cost by Google's side. That mean any click on them will not generate any revenue for you. I will tell you an Adsense secret that won't bother you to leave your AdSense code without a publisher id for 4-5 days.
That's what I have done for the experiment. First, I removed the publisher ID from my Adsense code. The first 2-3 days, AdSense spider almost never left my site. For the following 9 days, the spider never came to the site though. But what would the amazing result? After I removed my publisher ID for 2 or 3 days, when I put my publisher code again my eCPM was as high as $1or $2. I was getting $1 or $2 per click and the ads shown were high paying ones instead of those crappy ones. That was an amazing experience for me.
As a result, once your earnings start to decrease, you may try to remove your publisher ID for several days, and put it back later again. Or you can just do this periodically to keep your eCPM high. You will earn more than you lose for sure. Don't forget to leave a comment here on the results you get too!
